Great company, great people
Highly recommend Celestial to anyone looking to install a solar panel system. They are super professional and install quality panels and inverters. My system was installed about 6 months back and works great! Very happy owner here.

Solid solar installer
Overall great experience. I was referred from a neighbor, who is also very happy. They were competitive on price, were upfront/transparent with numbers, communication was always solid, even after installation. There were a couple of small issues, but nothing to complain about. They forgot to take final photos before they left, so I snapped a couple of shots for them. If that's the worst of it, I'd use them again. So far so good on the system. Jim (owner) is a good guy and his wife put together a package of things to file for all of the rebates that made it easy for me. I wish the app didn't charge me extra to see my energy consumption as well as what I'm making.

Fields curve balls well
Their entire team was proficient and easy to work with. Celestial uninstalled and reinstalled solar panels that were originally put in by another solar company so we could repair our damaged roof. They were very flexible with scheduling with the other companies involved, especially with considerations of project points that needed to be completed before the next steps could proceed. "Plays well with others" and "proficient and efficient" are accurate descriptions of Celestial.

Jim and the team from Celestial were great — I knew very little about solar and they talked me through the process, explained the cost & payback, talked me through my questions about the equiptment, and helped design an ideal system for my house. Installation was quick and efficient and before I knew it I was generating electricity! Jim was there throughout the process to answer questions and help. He was engaged and I felt like he really cared about getting a good outcome.

No regrets solar company
I sought 4 quotes for my rooftop solar and Jim stood out during the whole process. He was the most affordable option, which didn't hurt, but he also seemed to care about my project as much as I did. Emails and phone calls were answered promptly, he gave thorough explanations while always being open to my input. His crew was efficient, all of my paperwork was submitted on time, and I was online and making power in time for summer.

Great experience - honest, transparent, and supportive
I cannot recommend Jim and the folks at Celestial Solar highly enough. Working with them was easy and the process was straightforward. In particular, I appreciated the honesty, transparency, and support offered throughout the whole process. Honesty - from the first interaction, it was clear Jim (the owner) was not trying to upsell or push anything on me. We have a tree shading part of our roof, so he was quick to point out the limits of our potential system and made sure to size it appropriately for how much sun we get. Transparency - throughout the whole process, each component of the project was explained in detail, including the brands and models of the panels and inverters, the steps needed to take with the utility and what to expect, and the financing options. In particular, Jim was really transparent about different cost options for different size systems and different amounts of financing. The clear information gave me the confidence to make informed decisions from start to finish. Support - at every stage of the project - from initial scoping to installation to follow-up - Jim and Celestial have provided excellent support. I’ve had to do extraordinarily little, and whenever I have any questions they answer them quickly and comprehensively. Once again, I cannot recommend Celestial Solar highly enough. If you are looking to set up a home solar system, give them a call - you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic
We want to make a huge shout out of thanks to Jim Reilly and his team at Celestial Solar. Jim's analysis of our home's solar potential was thorough and his proposal was sensitive to our budget. He is a respectful, knowledgeable, and low key salesman who relies on good products, clear analysis and economic facts, unlike the 3 other salespeople that gave us quotes. He handled all the paperwork with the county, Pepco, the state, and the SREC broker. He kept us informed about the project progress through all of its stages. His installation team was professional, efficient, and cleaned up nicely after the work was completed. Our new Panasonic 400w panels are more than twice as productive as the panels we had installed on our previous home in 2009. Now that the panels are activated, we can sit back and generate our own electricity, knowing that we are not pulling from an increasingly stressed grid. The best part by far is getting our Pepco bill... $8.71 for May and $0.71 for June! Overproduction will go towards credits on our bill for less sunny months. We can't recommend Jim Reilly and Celestial Solar highly enough!

Jim and his team from Celestial Solar did a great job installing my solar system. Jim made the entire process very clear, along with the costs. There were no surprises and the system is performing great. Jim has been very responsive to any questions I have had - before, during, and after installation. Highly recommended!

Jim and his team were exceptional at explaining the ins and outs of getting solar installed on our home. He walked through all the permitting issues, modeling of payback period and expected power outputs, and the options for financing and rebates. He also followed up a year after to make sure everything was on track and working as expected. I highly recommend working with him and Celestial Solar if you're interested in getting solar installed.

Celestial Solar Innovations is a local business that was great to work with. We dealt directly with the owner, Jim Reilly, who guided us through each step of the process and gave us valuable advice on several key decision points. The work was professional and high quality, and everything was done on schedule. Costs were very reasonable. Jim managed the entire process through to the end, including interactions with Baltimore Gas and Electric and Howard County inspectors. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering solar panel installation in this area.
